The Women's Business & Enterprise Conference

Friday 3rd June, 10am-4pm

Gogarburn Conference Centra, 175 Glasgow Road, Edinburgh EH12 9BH

We all know a woman who gets on with things, creates brilliant projects or products, who inspires her team or colleagues or who simply makes things happen!

This year's conference is all about those women who work alongside us, who we meet at networking events, who quietly go about making a great living, who make beautiful things or who lead their organisation to bigger and better things.

And those women will be on our stage to tell their stories, inspire the attendees, take part in the discussions and deliver the workshops covering topics including;

  • Service Design Thinking – putting the customer at the heart of your business – Hazel White and Linsey McIntosh, Open Change;
  • Personal and business branding (From punk rock to personal branding: making your mark in business) – Mairi Damer, Word Up Communications;
  • LinkedIn and Social media – Fin Wycherley, Supersize Media;
  • Mentoring – the ASB mentoring programme for mentors and mentees – Eleanor Yearwood & Alison Kearney;
  • Making a business work through technology – Sheryl Newman;
  • Growing a business – RBS with Leah Hutchison, Appointedd;
  • Getting the promotion or position you want – Joy Lewis;
  • Mental Toughness – Dr Sue Mitchell, Aeona and Angela Wilson, Women’s Development Foundation.

Other confirmed speakers include;

  • Nicola Danes, Vanilla Blush
  • Jo Macsween of Macsween of Edinburgh
  • Dr Peter Kenway & Ceri Hughes, New Policy Institute
