at Dalhousie Building, University of Dundee, Old Hawkhill, Dundee.
After networking whilst having a bite to eat, we had an evening of branding from marketing research and planning to define the brand and ensure that it will achieve what your want for your business, the process of designing the logo and chosing colours, the importance of printing and the changes which are happening in the printing processes to protecting the brand from being used or copied by unsuscrupulous parties.
Alison Henderson from My Pinkie Promise, Wendy Maltman from the Malting House Graphic Design Studio, Christine Houston from J Thomson Colour Printers and Loretta Maxfield from Thorntons LLP took us through the journey, drawing on their experience and real-life examples.
The event finished with questions and answers put directly to speakers and of course more networking.
Thank you to Beverley Roberts of Live a Vibrant Life, Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce, J Thomson Colour Printers and Contact the Elderly for their generous donations for the raffle.
