A fairy-tale Christmas lunch which will help spreading the Christmas cheer!

at Best Western Woodlands Hotel, 13 Panmure Terrace, Broughty Ferry DD5 2QL

As Christmas beckoned, Women Aread spread the festive cheer by hosting a Fairy Box themed Christmas lunch. A charity close to our hearts, Fairy Box exists to support ill children in hospital along with their families and the medical and nursing staff involved in their care.

It was a well-attended event where each person attending brought a special silver-wrapped present to place in the Fairy Box of Ninewells Hospital to cheer us the children wh are undergroing treatment there.

After lunch, we heard from Rosie Butler about how the charity got founded when her little girl was sick and from Noele McClelland whose son has hugely benefitted from the toys picked from The Fairy Box.

The event was just closing when a journalist from The Courier turned up to take a photograph, and hey presto we were in the next day's issue!
