CEO of Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce. I am proud to lead the team & the local business community in such exciting times for our region. I’m thrilled to join the team at a time when there are a great many opportunities for businesses in the local area to flourish and grow, and I see the Chamber as an organisation that can be at the heart of that. We are leading the way as the largest business organisation in Dundee & Angus, promoting our members, expanding our services and raising awareness of the benefits of doing business locally. There are many reasons to be excited to be in business in Dundee & Angus.
I have grown my own business in Dundee since 2009, after leaving a senior role in the marketing team at Alliance Trust. I have extensive experience in marketing & events management, and leading teams to deliver successful projects. I'm proud to have a wide network of business contacts, and experience of working with stakeholders and partners to influence policy and business leaders.
Past Chair I'm honoured to have been the Chair of Women Ahead and support the group to run networking events for members & attract new women to the group.
I have always recognised how important networking has been in my business life and look forward to having lots of conversations with members of Women Ahead. I will continue to do what I can to promote what is a great resource.
As Past President of the Association of Scottish Businesswomen, I help Women Ahead & its members link to others at a national level, widening our access to the support, inspiration and opportunities that brings.
As CEO of Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce, I'm proud to be able to connect the two organisations and promote women in business.
At the Women Ahead Awards in 2015 I was honoured to be awarded the first ever Member of the Year Award: nominated and voted for by the members. Women Ahead as an organisation has been vital for my personal & business development and is such a supportive group, I really appreciate & value the Award
