A very well attended lunch-time event where members and non-members heard from Joyce Beattie on the work and organisation of the Samaritans followed by an insight into the work of management of offenders and the joint working with other agencies and organisations in Tayside Police by ACC Angela Wilson and DC Elaine Stewart of Tayside Police.

Women Ahead Chairperson Sharron MacIntosh made a special presentation to Helen Forbes, a long-standing member and supporter of Women Ahead who has worked tirelessly for Breast Cancer Care.
