A prize-winning honours graduate of leading design school, Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Wendy Maltman has made it her ambition to champion the benefits of good design.
A diverse career, spanning 25 years, with some of Scotland's leading design agencies has given Wendy the experience to establish her own business, The Malting House Limited. Since 2003 the studio has provided a professional service to a wide range of clients including Ewgeco, NHS, Gleneagles Hotel, Cambus O'May, Highland Fayre and the Regimental Museum at Stirling Castle.
Wendy’s design solutions are marked by diligent research, inspired design development and carefully crafted solutions produced with attention to detail. A commitment to excellence and passion for design gives Wendy an enviable reputation for delivering to extremely high standards.
The Studio continually invests in the latest technology allowing it to produce artwork efficiently and effectively; working in partnership with appropriate suppliers to deliver on schedule and within budget.
Wendy is a Past Chair of Women Ahead and President of the Association of Scottish Businesswomen. She is a member of Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce and an active member of The Rotary Club of Dundee. Wendy is also a Burgess of the City of Dundee and a member of the Museums Association. She is Vice-Chair of Dundee Museum of Transport. Recently, Wendy was invited to become a member of the Dyer Craft of the Nine Incorporated Trades of Dundee - only the 2nd female member in its 500 year existence!
